Welcome to Manchester Mind!

Manchester Mind is a local mental health charity providing services to people in Manchester. We are committed to improving the lives of people with mental health needs.

Our Vision is of a city that promotes and protects good mental health for all, and that treats people with experience of mental distress fairly, positively and with respect.

Manchester Mind exists to promote the health and wellbeing of people in the city who have been affected by mental distress.

We take a positive approach to mental health, challenging stereotypes and discrimination.

We listen to and respect people who use our services, value their experiences and place them at the centre of service delivery and development.

We enable people with mental health needs to improve their health and wellbeing and reach their full potential.

We work with people with mental health needs so they can live more successfully in their communities.

Above all, we aim to create a positive future for people who use our services, our volunteers, our staff and our stakeholders.

Please see our "How we Help" pages for details of all our services, SCROLL DOWN for the latest news, and visit our Events page.

Our congratulations to Tracy and Alex Johnston on their Valentine's Wedding at Eccles Parish Church. The big hearted couple asked guests to donate to our charity instead of receiving gifts. "We were delighted to forego any wedding presents in order to give to Mind. These special people helped some of our family members to cope at a difficult time and we thank them very much for that." We wish Tracy and Alex every joy in their new life together.
